WRX Atlanta Car Meet at Orton, Nov 9th, 2008 (view/hide)

Orton Performance is hosting the Monthly WRX Atlanta Car Meet and Greet on Sunday November 9th, 2008 starting at 12pm at our shop in Cumming, GA for all WRX Atlanta members, Orton customers, friends and performance car lovers. All cars welcome so bring your car to show or just drop by to have a look around and talk shop.

We'll be strapping a Cobb R35 GTR to the dyno, firing up the grill and just hanging out...

Food: The BBQ grill will be there, bring what you would like to eat. People Bringing food/drinks eat for free, rest pay-$3 for dog/burger, chips and Drink, $1 for repeat.

Orton Performance is hosting the WRX Atlanta Car Meet and Greet/AWD Dyno Day on Sunday October 19th, 2008 starting at 9am at our shop in Cumming, GA for all WRX Atlanta members, Orton customers, friends and performance car lovers. All cars welcome so bring your car to show or just drop by to have a look around and talk shop.

Dyno starts up at 9am, meet is from noon 'til 7pm.

Orton R800 on final approach !!!!!!!!!!!!!! (view/hide)

We, at Orton Performance, strive to create the ultimate in Street Performance, and we have achieved this with the R800 package. With a top speed of over 220 mph, accompanied with mind- blowing acceleration (Data to be released soon) and described as “totally over the top”, this is truly the ultimate in performance. All this achieved at 8000 RPM @ over 1.5 bar.

Two years ago we installed our first 3.8Ltr conversion, after an uneventful two years of motoring the car has arrived back at our facility for a supercharger along with a suspension upgrade. Updates will follow !!!!!!!!

Orton R700 Makes Its 'Maiden Voyage' (view/hide)

Orton R700’s first U.S. package was released into the wild in September 2007. Excited owner, Al Norton, wasted no time putting the Track monster to use already participating in 3 Track events and 1 Autocross. He was able to achieve FTD (fastest time of the day) in his very first Autocross event with PCA (Porsche Club of America). The R700 provides high power and torque numbers with very controllable driving parameters in one exciting package - a real feat considering it produces 700 hp @ 1.5 bar and with redline of 8,000 RPM!

R550 is 'Fastest Car' at Barber NASA Event/Wins Time Trials (view/hide)

Dez White piloted his Orton R550 to multiple levels of success at Barber Motorsports Park with NASA (National Autosport Association). With nearly 3600 lbs (with driver car) won its class in time trials, while setting a Lap Record for NASA in the process. His fastest lap of 1:36.621 was more than 1.2 seconds faster than the next fastest lap set by any other drivers at the event (including the wheel-to-wheel racing groups, none of which got within 2.5 seconds of Dez’s record mark). He also plans to shoot for time trials records at Road Atlanta and Sebring in 2008.
